  1. Wonderful image – and no, the contents of a photograph do not always have to be clear and sharp, and blown highlights are eminently acceptable – almost like something from a fairy story. Adrian 🙂

    1. Thanks Adrian. I wanted a sense of reality. With the falling snow, there was nothing sharp to see – and the light was flattening everything. So glad you appreciate the imperfections!

      1. Yes, Scott, bring on the imperfections! The Holy Grail for many (less imaginative?) souls is a technically perfect image, but image content is what really matters. I’m not saying that an image must necessarily have deep narrative or meaning, but I am saying that a technically perfect image that lacks content – in my view – simply doesn’t cut the mustard. Adrian 🙂
